Montecito Heights Health & Racquet Club has 5 beautiful plexi-paved tennis courts, which are the most beautiful courts in Sonoma County. The courts are kept immaculately clean (washed on a regular basis), assuring you of consistent bounces and great traction. The surrounding trees and hills offer not only a beautiful backdrop, but serve as a natural barrier for wind on breezy days.

Our Club has several USTA teams for spring and summer play, Senior USTA teams for the fall season, as well as women’s teams that participate in the Sonoma-Marin leagues that also compete during the fall.   We will also be offering Summer Junior Clinics for all ages and levels of play.

Court Reservations

We want everyone to have a great time on the courts. So please take a moment to familiarize yourself with the following reservation and court guidelines.

  • Court Reservations are required and may be booked up to one week in advance.
  • There is no fee to book a court.

Tennis Pro: Phil Krohn. USPTA certified tennis professional since 1979. Phil Krohn formally owned Countryside Racquet Club on the west side of Santa Rosa which he sold in 1999. Phil came to Montecito Heights in 2003 and has brought great enthusiasm and knowledge to our tennis program.

  • Private Lesson: One on one training with pro.
  • Play with Pro: If you want to play against the pro to test your game and stamina this is for you. Private lesson prices apply.
  • Semi-Private: 2-3 individuals who are at equal abilities working on skills and techniques with the pro. *Fee is split amongst participants.
  • Clinic: Groups of 4 or more or equal abilities working on skills and techniques. Typically clinics are formed with players on the same team or groups of friends who are of similar abilities and want to work together with the pro. If less than 4 players group can decide if they would like a semi-private instead.
  • Drill Sessions: Scheduled 1 – 1 ½ hour sessions of fast paced drills. No sign ups necessary and all levels are welcome. Minimum of 4. Maximum of 12. If less than 4 players group can decide if they would like a semi-private instead.
  • Team Practice: During the team season, practices may be arranged for members of the same team for work on specific elements of team play.
